Career Opportunities
ECDC acts as a liaison between ASU Faculty of Engineering and employers.  The office organizes and offers the following:

  • Employment Fairs targeting engineering students and hosting companies interested in hiring ASU engineering graduates
  • Job/Internship postings on regular basis through the center’s social media and career management system
  • Job Shadowing/Company visits
  • Information Interviews
  • Industry Talks

Access To Career Opportunities

Employability and Career Development Center assists ASU Faculty of Engineering students with their career planning process and acts as a liaison with employers to facilitate transition from university to the world of work.  It offers a set of programs to build students’ employability skills to offer them the right mix to tap into the job market.

Career Development Workshops

Career Guidance
Certified career development facilitators offer an array of services including:

  • Career development workshops on: resume writing, interviewing techniques, career planning, job search and other professional services
  • Individual advising appointments for: resume critique, mock interviews, and career decision-making

Skills Development
To strengthen ASU engineering students’ employability skills the center offers - free of charge - the below services:

  • Employability Skills Track sponsored: This experiential based program is divided into: self-discovery, leadership, teamwork, communication and presentation skills, and a career module. The complete module is offered to a subset of ASU engineering students through a selection process.
  • Language Courses
  • Technical Tracks conducted by corporate partners are offered to complement the technical skills of ASU engineering graduates in target areas of specialization. Topics include, but not limited to business development, entrepreneurship, and lighting design.
